LadyT Wood reviewed Avery's Maryland Grille
Food was good, the customer service was slacking. My friend & I were seated on the heated deck, however, customers were allowed to go out the door allowing (freezing) cold air into the area. After mentioning to waitresses the concern, they went to try & prevent this from continuing. The owner however, didn't see the need to ask his patrons to utilize another exit (at the main entrance), he (Steve per the customer, after knowing our concerns) told the customers they could use the exit. I was not pleased, as we were sitting directly in front of the door. One customer in particular ignored even the waitress when she tried to speak with him (it was more important for him to go out to smoke). If you are going to have a heated space, then keep it heated for the customers who choose to sit out there.
J L reviewed Pozoleria Mexican Food
I've been here four times now and it's always excellent. The pozole is my favorite in Phoenix, always very clean tasting, good portions and flavor. The establishment itself is also tidy and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. Service is always very friendly, whether I've sat down to eat or taken food to go.
Zachary Olsen reviewed Johnny's Burgers & Dogs
Love this secret little spot! The char on the burgers is freakin awesome!! Hand cut (house made, i think?) pickles, thick slice of tomato, lettuce and red onion, w/house sauce. The bun holds up bite after juice-dripping bite. Crinkle-cut fries could use a little more salt, but they are ALWAYS hot, crispy, and abundant.
My only complaint is they don't have American cheese... no biggie, though!
Christina Kahra reviewed Andre's
Andre's is simply the best spot in Hollywood, CA for spaghetti hands down!!! Outdoor dining is available, spaghetti meat sauce is the best , Take some home in the quart size and make your own noodles for future dinners, inlike to freeze my meat sauce so I get the quart in.plastic container. A must if near 3rd street and Fairfax in Hollywood.
