I have seen Dr. Jensen 2 times and he is kind, empathetic & quick to respond to your needs. I was very impressed when when he not only told me some excercises to do but demonstrated them.

I see Dr Jensen and he is fantastic! He answers all of my questions and never makes me feel as though he is rushed. He goes out of his way to accommodate me with any referrals I need. His nurse Steven is fantastic also. Returns calls promptly etc. The front reception is always prompt and courteous and gets me in quickly for appointments.

Great staff - both medical staff and office staff. The doctors and nurses are friendly and answer your questions. The office staff answers the phone fairly quickly and is friendly both on the phone and in person. Nice waiting area as well.

I had an appointment scheduled with a doctor today at #shawneemissionprimarycare and received a phone call from an automated system at 7am today saying my appointment ( that I have literally been waiting all month for) has been canceled...Next, I receive a text confirmation saying my appointment was canceled... so I of course call Shawnee Mission Primary Care back and get a grouchy woman who mumbles her words together when answering the phone and I tell her what I just received and I ask why it had been canceled and she just ignores my issue and goes into asking when I would like to reschedule! So the nice person that I am reschedules for another week and the call is done. If any of you ladies are like me, you know when you have been wronged and it resonates with you. I had to call back because it’s not right to just cancel an appointment without giving a reason. Come on folks! I mean I call patients to schedule their appointments daily and I would NEVER in a million years treat someone like this but to Shawnee Mission Primary Care, I am just another name on the list and that’s it. So I called back and canceled both appointments I had with them and gave my explanation of why in the simplest way I could, just that my appointment was canceled and I had been waiting a long time for it and that I was not given an apology or a reason why and the grouch on the other end just said, “k, your appointments are canceled. Bye.” I will NEVER either go to or recommend SMPC and I will now go out of my way to make sure my friends and family know about the short and HORRIBLE experience I have had with this clinic. Rant over.

I've had limited experience with this office, but I've followed Dr. Tran since she's been in practice for about 20 years. She's a great doctor!! I'm giving you only four stars, because your phone system doesn't allow for leaving messages on the nurse line after hours. You have to call back the next day. It just makes it a little more inconvenient for the patient. Is there a reason for this?
