there are many chicken grills in Portugal. Normally a chicken dish is half a chicken with fries and salad. In this case its a 1/4 chicken only with fries for 7 euro and no salad. Chicken tastes very good but value for money is not so good. small salad starts around 2.7 euro

This place is amazing! Was on holiday and stumbled across this place online. Decided to give it a go. The other reviews are right about the small (ish) 1/2 size which would probably be good for lunch. I immediately ordered another half and it was just right. So my girlfriend and I half 1 and a half chicken between us... The menu is a no nonsense menu. They know what they do best and it was not a disappointment. The chicken is cooked to perfection, quite salty but it works with the garlicky oil/juices... Save the bread to dip into the chicken juices! We enjoyed it that much we decided to go back for our last meal before we headed back to the UK.

This has been one of my favourite places to eat in Albufeira for the last 20 years. The staff are very nice and friendly. The chicken is the best Piri-piri you will taste.

Food was not that great. It was plain and the portions was a real rip off. They state that each chicken portion is a 1/2 a chicken.... Yes... Baby chickens as the actual sizes of the chicken are so small... I stress the fact that they are not from grown chickens. The drumsticks were smaller than my thumb. The photos are up to scale for you to see. I was there with a group of 4 and it seemed that none of us were impressed. Would not recommend.

Quite simply the best place for Portuguese Piri Piri chicken in the Algarve. I fly all the way from the UK to eat here. Their menu is simple (chicken and prawns) and the staff are very friendly and fantastic. Absolutely recommended if you are in the Algarve.
