Ended up going with Mariana Tour for our Meia Volta tour and was really impressed. They were cheaper than most other companies (most do it for 100r but they did it for 90r - which seems to be the cheapest most offer). The actual guide we had was excellent, spoke fantastic Spanish, English and Portuguese and was unbelievably friendly. He even offered to take us on a de-tour to a snorkeling spot that wasn't filled with people. Very friendly agency also, they'll give you all the help you need. Had a fantastic time and was worth every real!
Don't book here! We booked with Leo and he said we will get snorkel equipment for the boat tour, but when we arrived there were no snorkels available. It happened to other tourists too. Leo is a lair... Don't trust! The boat tours on Ilha Grande are amazing but book it in an other agency not marianatours :)
Horrible experience. The boat had no permission to go to the south side of the island, because the speedboats are too small. The police stopped us, but the captain took the other way around the island which made it even more dangerous, because we now cruised against the waves. At the end he skipped one stop, because we were late and my girlfriend's father has hugh back problems, because the boat was kicking so hard. Don't put a foot on a speed boat and get a written offer.
Horrible trip, the boat as small and way too crowded. We spent our day stuck to other wet people, listening to bad music. Plus the sights in the northern part of the island (Lagoa Azul, etc) are not that impressive.

Don't ever go with Mariana tours. No lifewests, no information, nothing regarding security, they didn't even know our names, one girl almost died.
Fui muito bem atendido pela Márcia e optei por fazer o passeio de volta a ilha que foi incrível. Fui conduzido pelo Cláudio que não se limitou a dirigir a lancha e sim orientar sobre o passeio, opções de cada lugar e contar um pouco sobre as praias. Contratei também o passeio das ilhas Paradisíacas que são incríveis, mas senti falta da mesma atenção recebida pela tripulação do passeio anterior. Fiz ainda o roteiro de meia volta, o qual achei que não vale a pena, especialmente pela parada para almoço no meio do trajeto que quebra todo o clima, sem falar que as últimas praias são bem sem graça.
