We had a really great time here with some friends. The place looks really nice and comfy. The food is really good and taste nice and fresh. Also dessert was pretty great dont forget to order your german beer. The waiter are really nice and friendly and the price is fair for the food and service.

Delicious German food our beautifully rustic atmosphere. We had the Rinderroulade and Pannfisch, which both were delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Added with a bit of luck you also get to meet the house's dog.

The traditional Hamburg old school look is something to experience. Food options are local cuisine with very fast service. The waitress was really kind, and let you sample the draft beer without questions asked.

Wow! This place really exceeded my expectations. Best German food I've ever eaten! The flavors were so nuanced and well balanced, and the textures were phenomenal. A great, cozy environment with very friendly staff, too!

Food was excellent, beer was excellent and the service was excellent - no complaints! Tourists, this place is a must-visit - you can try local fare (my party and I tried the Labskaus, which was lovely), the menus are in English and the people there speak English too. Place is easy to access (barely a minute away from the nearest train station) and one can pay by visa here!
