I would recommend Askham village community to anyone. I was in Askham court for a few months came here after being in lots of different places and was told I may never walk again after a car accident but this place wow not only are the staff friendly, sweet and make you feel like part of the family the team and physio got me walking.. they need more then 5 stars in my Opinion. They gave me hope and gave my children their mum back..

A close friend with MS is cared for here. The staff are always friendly and do a great job! My friend receives the best care you could ask for! The meals always look and smell nice. My friend is always clean and her bed is always clean! She receives plenty of drinks throughout the day and is encouraged to take part in activities of which there are normally two a day. Lovely place.

Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy, my dad suffered 3 strokes was sent to askham to receive rehabilitation, had a pressure sore which went to grade 4 constantly had cuts everywhere, back and forth to hospital through dehydration infections ect left all day in a bed because they couldnt be arsed, got a phone call saying dad was being taken back into hospital dont worry about it though hes just got a temperature 3 weeks later passed away from sepsis due to pressure sore, staff stand smoking outside half the day and only have time for people who can walk and talk.
