Very nice area, safe beach. This beach is at Te Puru recreation park, great place to exercise, go for a walk and also has a children's play area. This park also has a skateboard ramp. Well worth a visit.

Kellys Beach is a lovely sheltered area and the playing fields and Community Center adjoining are very popular. I regularly start my e-bike rides from here. The cycle and pedestrian paths are of a high standard and provide pleasant sea views all the way to Pine Harbour Marina to the west and Maraetai Beach via Omana Regional Reserve in the east.
