Meat was not of a very high level. I can't really compare the price, but it seems like a lot of money for not high quality meat or cooking skills. There were also hairs in the food, not 1, but 3 on my plate and 2 on my girlfriend's plate. When we told the waiter this, they did nothing, no price reduction, no free beverage or whatsoever. We also had to wait 20 minutes to pay, first 10 min to get the bill, and then (at least) another 10 min to pay. Girlfriend's family has come here her whole life. Sadly never going back. Location is beautiful though, was really interesting to see the boats float by while sitting next to the water. Still wouldn't recommend.
Meat was quite overcooked and therefore dry. For 2 of the 3 menua they did not bring the vegetables. when we asked, they told us, there is no vegi included. After showing them their own menu card, they told us, they are sorry, but as the bill was already printed, they cannot give us the money for the vegis back.. what the heck? the two stars are for the view, not the food nor the service!
Beautiful place by the river to have dinner. Wasn't too fond of all the smoking and the price was a bit steep from what I'm used to. But the food was decent quality and decent size. The view was the best feature though.

Best thing is the view of the Aare. Food high priced mediocrity at best. Best take plenty of time with you too.

superb spot, lots of parking, dog friendly but the food is expensive for what you get and the service could be friendlier and quicker. for smokers : there's an indoor serviced fumoir.
