The Blue Route store's attitude to customers is fantastic! Irecently bought a remote mouse for less than R200 and it didn't work on my wife's computer. No problem, with considerable effort Rowan and Ivan checked out the PC and ensured that the malfunctioning computer enabled the mouse to work! These are busy and yet, they took the time to make sure my little purchase worked! Would I recommend Dean (the manager), Ivan and Rowan? You betcha! These guys KNOW THEIR S**T and GIVE A S**T about you. Which is why I have been coming to them for years. And will always recommend them as the most sussed IT store in town!!

Purchased an access point from Computer Mania Blue route in good faith. Internet has been up and down and after about 2 months at my wits end, got in a professional networking company. Turns out the access point that they sold to me was old technology and that is the problem. When I approached Computer Mania and told them they had sold me something that was not the correct item for my requirements they say: Sorry we cannot do anything about it, try selling it on Gumtree?? As a layman, you trust that the consultants are there to help, give the correct information and not offload old stock onto unsuspecting customers. BIG FAIL COMPUTER MANIA!!!

Kind and helpful staff. Decent tech. Gotten most of my tech from here and they have been great every time. Also spent hours trying to correct a problem caused by kc branch: KC branch sheared my keyboard's L.E.D. ribbon and weakly reconnected the copper ends. When taking it in for an M.2 assessment, the ribbon's last connecting bit got torn off because they had done such a bad job of it at kc (plus KC branch voided my warranty). Blue route branch desperately tried to help ,for hours, to fix the issue (at no charge). Going above and beyond their job description, they are quite a cool bunch.

I bought a new Lenovo Ideapad laptop in March this year from Computer Mania. It was not a cheapie but not top of the range either. However, ever since I have had it, it runs slowly, it sounds like the hard drive is working ALL the time. It sometimes take a simple one page Word document 3 minutes to load. On calling them about this issue, they said it had an 'old' hard drive and that I would have to have an SSD - solid state drive put in at a cost of R1200!! Really, why would they not share this information with me when I bought the laptop! Shocking - this laptop cost R7500!!!! I am not impressed!
