Why I would never buy an Ipad ever again. I havent used my Ipad 3 for about a month. Opened my bag today and found this. With not a single device I have ever had a problem with a swollen battery like this. Cracked the screen and the digitizer too. Honestly it has put me off in buying an Apple Device. Our Samsung tablet is far older than this and never had any issues. Clearly terrible build quality trying to be sold off as premium.

I received an iPhone 12 from a relative before the launch date in South Africa. I brought it to the iStore in canal walk for help. The staff were very friendly although the store was admittedly not that busy. I initially saw Luka and a young lady assistant. Although the phone is not yet available in SA the helped me with the extras I needed which were available. Then they passed me on to Troy who helped me transfer data from an old phone which was complicated by their being different versions. All 3 were very professional and helpful and as good or better than what I have received in iPhone stores in New York. It was amazing considering service is not great in many establishments in our country.
Amazing store, but service is dead slow. Just for a simple upgrade. Staff not the friendliest either
Misinformation about Apple care is going to cost me R431 more! I bought an iPad 8th Gen beginning of December. It was exceptionally crowded and getting help was difficult. I bought an iPad and glass protector. When we asked if we needed to buy apple care the man said we didn't need to that day we could come back later. Apple.com states you have 60 days to buy icare. I went to iStore Tygervalley and they would not sell me the card for coverage. When I asked to talk to the manager I was told no I could not speak to the manager, they would not sell it to me. When I told them apple says you can buy it within 60 days they said "were not Apple". I was going to upgrade my phone from android to Apple but I have decided I won't buy from any istore ever. Not only that but I'm going to convince my family and friends Android Huawei is better and you don't have to deal with an istore ever again.
After a month of struggling to get the contract and device I wanted directly through the cell provider I went into the iStore and was welcomed by amazing staff. Basetsane was phenomenal in helping me with my contract application and making everything a breeze. A massive thank you to Basetsane for her amazing assistance and quick processing!

I was at the iStore last week, i needed to do an MTN upgrade but no staff were available, Caleb assisted me with sourcing all of the documents and checking stock while I waited for a member of staff who could assist me with MTN, he ended up educating me on a few apple products and I am so so happy with my purchases , will definitely be back at the Canal Walk branch and asking for Caleb next time i need assistance.
Nightmare experience in my life Thursday on 26th November went to canal walk I-store then saw that priced down for iPhone11 regular price 14999 and black Friday offer 8999. Wanted to buy on the same day same time but one if the person say they don't have stock and putting me on wait list. Today 29th November went to store to find out how long do I have to wait for it. I wanted to surprise my wife on 2nd December for her birthday. I was surprised that they say that was not on special ever. Even I was asking them is it really going for 8999. On the day they say yes but today it's different story....
