Arrived at 13:30, had a table at 13:50. It took 15 minutes to have us to make an order (5 to choose, 10 to be attended); we got the food on our table at 14:40, which is 35 minutes later (nothing special - 2 grilled stakes; nothing else, no salad). Since the time we finished and the time the staff took plates off - it took another 20 minutes. This is given the fact that staff basically ignore you when you call for them because it’s “not their zone of responsibility”... Won’t return, never again. Much more places nearby - cheaper, faster, and less stressful.

The place is average based on my experience on a group meal. Location is decent but there is no parking lot if you take your car. About the meal, we had a good variety of starters but the quality was average. The 2 dishes that were included on the menu, one was reasonable and the other was actually tasty (meat dish). The desserts were very good, much better than other restaurants. About the people, the impression I got is that they are short on staff since there was only 1 waiter assigned to our 20 seats table causing delays on our requests for drinks for example. The price is fair for the amount of food but for quality it is not. You might have a better experience than me if you decide to go for meat dishes

Fact: Sassoeiros offers the best tuna that I've ever experienced. After this Atlantic flavoured meat no other tune will taste the same, this has became the standard upon others are evaluated and that's truly remarkable. Fact: the service is efficient and present, considering intense demand and very attentive and helpful. Typical professional Portuguese service in it's best. Fact: it is not fancy, it is casual without being clumsy or ugly, with fairly big windows with a normal view. Advice: make a reservation both for a table and for the tuna because as premise for it to be fresh it is limited in quantity and will end quite early. Tip: there is an alternative restaurant from the group in Algés offering the same standard quality.
