Honestly it's been too long that I forgot the taste, but I wasn't impressed except for the price. fairly speaking it was my first eat out in Geneva which can be shocking, but yeah the price and the taste combo didn't leave me a satisfying feeling, the location is primal though.

Underwhelming french style bistro. The menu choices are rather small (which is good in this case as it's freshly made) and interesting. My starter was a crab & scallop ravioli which tasted of warm ocean with coconut milk. The main course was a stake which had apparently \aged on the bone\ but nothing of this could be tasted as it had way too many tendons and one part of it was undercooked. The dessert was a \café gourmand\ which was good except for what they called to be a panna cotta. Unfortunately it was extremely hot during our stay there although it was about 10C outside. The chairs are also very uncomfortable and you feel overall very cramped, especially being taller. The staff on the other hand were very friendly! As this is a rather expensive place, I would recommend to try elsewhere as you might get a better meal in more comfort at the same price.
Good food, nice peoole
Went as group of 6 today at lunch. Food was very tasty, quality was good. The ambiance in this old building is very nice and the decor is on point. Lunchtime service was a touch slow and we did have to try a few times to signal the waiters. They have a great terrace which I am sure would be nice in summer. I would definitely come here again if we were in the area.
I live in London which is expensive but a super cheap city when compared to Geneva. And so it is difficult to review restaurants here because to me, they're all massive rip offs for what you'd get. Having said that, I feel like Café du Marché is charging relatively high prices even for Geneva and what you get is fairly mediocre food. I mean it's nice, but it's definitely not fine dining; it's just reasonably tasty and presented well. But it's not fine dining.
Nice location, good choice of food and drink
Very helpful and understanding hostess and waitress. Oh, food was pretty awesome as well.
Nice place, with great ambience, delicious food and very friendly service. We were the last clients far after the official closing hours and they were still very attentive and even offered us a couple of drinks for free.
