We decided to see a bit more of the South Island with a road trip and it was the best holiday ever! I had never hired a campervan before but found it really great to drive and the maintenance things that I thought would be complicated are actually very simple to do. The hire process was easy and the team at the Christchurch office were just great. Definitely recommend it, can't wait to head off again!

Great experience with these guys, from beginning to the end. Friendly and helpful staff at both pickup and drop off. The 6 berth Mercedes was late model ,and low kms. It drove very well, and was suppressing how economical it was. We made sure we got in at sensible times for the pickup and drop off. So for us ,that meant we got there bang on 8am at opening. And at drop off, the cut off was 4pm, so naturally you want to be there well b4 then to avoid any back log. 2pm worked well. As a result ,a little over half an hour at both pick up and drop off ,and we were off on our way. The pricing was transparent and reasonable. Again the insurance options, and diesel k charges seemed more than fear to us. We certainly recommend these guys, and will use them again the future. P.S , this was the Christchurch branch we dealt with.

After being left high and dry by another rental company due to the recent Auckland Level 3 COVID situation, they were unable to supply us an alternative from Christchurch, we wandered, somewhat despondent into the Christchurch Apollo branch and to our surprise we were warmly welcomed by all the friendly staff members. The whole process was easy and fun and we certainly felt appreciated. What a relief, we could go on our holiday in a very nice camper with all the mod cons, nothing was a problem for this awesome team. Thank you Team Apollo, you are the best!

I was a bit worried about all the negative reviews (which I saw after booking the motorhome), but did not experience any trouble. The team was supportive with scratches and questions during the rental period och both check-in and out went reasonably smooth. Sure, you have to set aside some time for that and there could be some wait if many arrive at the same time.

RV was hired earlier in year prior to lockdown, was in very good condition throughout and over a longish tour was faultless. Collection in Christchurch was long winded affair and took some time due to their popularity! Return was easy and quick. Friendly staff and also I had cause to contact them by e mail on a couple of occasions and very helpful responses. Would be happy to use this Company again.
