Terrible end to a 3 year rental agreement. Upon vacating they held my bond ransom and during mediation property manager, Catherine Flanagan tried to blackmail me with additional costs (600 on top of my 1000 bond) and tribunal if I was not to agree to their terms that very day. Thank goodness the tribunal understood and saw sense. I got a good chunk of my bond back and all the other claims they tried to get me to pay were thrown out the window, and rightfully so. Will never rent with cowdy again and advise against using their services. Shocking.

There are a lot of things to this story but I will try and keep it short and concise. They rented out what they knew full well was a substandard property (their excuse is that the tenants accepted it in that condition). They categorically refused to rectify multiple critical health and safety issues that had already caused harm to their tenants. Then upon moving out they held the bond to ransom and falsely accused tenants of deliberately damaging the property. All of this of course is documented in photos and emails. I have included some photos with this review however I have refrained from posting the emails to protect the identity of the individual property manager involved. All in all I am glad this saga is over, though I wish there was better recourse against property managers who so brazenly breach the law. Going to a tribunal is a lot of hassle not many tenants can be bothered with. Best case scenario, they make a lot of armature mistakes. Worst case scenario, they deliberately try to scam people. So whether you are a tenant ore a client of theirs, my advice is to tread carefully.

Worst agency ever dealt with all prior landlords have been happy with us and treated us well, only go here if you wana deal with people set with there mind on your money. Never again
Website was easy to follow and a great description of the property. Photos were good too cant fault them.
We had very bad experience with one of the property agent that we allow them to property viewing before we leave from the property. But this didn't go smooth and someone was stolen our bike from inside the property after property viewing and they said it’s not their responsibility. We stayed in the property only for 3 months and they claimed for stain on the carpet which are not even visible after we did the carpet cleaning which is done by one Cowdy's carpet cleaning company.
Our tenancy with Cowdy & Co. has been great. Our property manager is always very accommodating and helpful. She always gets things that are needed to be done as soon as possible. I can safely say that they manage properties very well.
Wouldn't recommend, so hard to get anything done.
