Service is always great. Boss man stayed open late for me even though I ordered right on closing time (silly of me I know) generous scoops and very tasty.

This was the first time I had been to Edgeware Takeaways and I was suitably impressed. The place was clean and tidy and staff were very efficient at their tasks. I only ordered some chips but as you can they were really very, very good. I intend to go back there and try some other choices from their menu and I am sure it will be very good. By the way parking is on the street but normally an issue.

Edgware Takeaways, take aways my heart more like it! I've lived all over the country and sampled some of the most reputable f n cs, the ones that people say are the best in the country, Auckland, Ham, Wellington... but those all lack the quality and selection that Edgware serves up. You've got the classic fried menu, classic, but the portions are about twice as big! I'm not kidding aye, get the fish, they're monsters! They do a mean curry spring roll fyi. The burgers are massive too, awesome selection, the fella in there will custom it out too if you ask. But the crowning jewel of this place are the souvlakis. They're so good aye, should be serving them in a full on Greek restaurant... I sometimes wake up at night in a cold sweat and shaking if I haven't had a large, with extra lamb in a few days. Best chippa in NZ in my opinion and from my experience. Also really clean with good in door and outdoor seating.

Cleanest Fish and Chips I've ever had, beautiful tasting food with no feeling of being weighed down by oil and fat after like so many other places. Such great value for money too, can't recommend enough.
