Very good fish and chip shop, definitely the second best in the area. The chips are always cooked to crisp perfection and are always have a good amount of salt. The fish is more or less the same, cooked to perfection! prices are also very competitive. Staff are always very friendly and are some of the nicest shop owners in the area.

Oct 2020: Good fish and chips, good vegetarian options, good service (from the owners, who are lovely people). Unfortunately they use tallow (animal fat) in their fryer which means deep fried vegetarian/vegan options aren't vegetarian/vegan, and they don't intend changing to oil. If you order when the young casual staff are on, good luck. Twice I've ordered specific dishes, which they've confirmed on the call, and they've screwed it up. The first time the owners apologised when I picked up my next order, and gave me one item for free (like I said, nice owners). This last time the girl at the till was pretty blasé about it and was even a little sarky when I left. So, as good as the owners are, the young casual staff are unreliable and actual vegetarian/vegan options are limited so we now go elsewhere :( Jan 2021: I thought I'd had one last go and got fried rice, no egg. I'd done this a couple of times before and, when they got the order right, it was nice. This time it was basically lightly fried rice with veg. No flavour, little (if any) seasoning. Made it better with soy and seasoning at home, but this was definitely the last time coming here. Fried rice isn't that hard to get right... I'll make my own now.

Best fish and chips in Burwood. All the food is cooked perfectly and the prices aren’t to crazy. The owners are lovely and the girls working at the shop are always nice. Perfect if you call and make your order and waiting time is usually 10-15 mins on a normal night

These good people make the best old-school burgers in town, and no problems personalising your order for you. Absolutely 5-star, my vote for best takeaway menu n Christchurch.
