Abbey and Jerry are the new owners from Nelson, they bring a new vibe to the area. We love and miss our Dave but he has left the place in really good hands. Fish and chips are a new thing for them as they have previously had a Chinese shop. Daves brother scotty had got them up to speed with what us locals like. Give them a chance to get it right for you. Great service excellent food well done.

Fail I asked for my pineapple ring to be put in the sugar & cinnamon mix used for doughnuts - didn't happen plus it was super greasy. The chips were super greasy with maybe a couple of crisp ones. My crumbed tarakihi was more crumb than fish but was nice. The barest whisper of salt.

Fantastic fish n chips! Always have a good laugh whenever we visit! This is always our go to place. The customer service is fantastic!

Davids is closed at the moment but we really miss his lovely fish and chips and his humour. We do not know why he is not here but we would love him to be back soon.

I wish google had a No Star option because this place has the worst chips I've ever seen They were tailings scraped of the floor ! I was hoping the new owners were going to be professional
