Haven't been here for along time. Probably since the earthquakes, so it has been nice to revisit Sumner, Scarborough.

Clock tower has been there for as long as I can remember. Dates back to the 1930s. Has been restored after the Christchurch earthquakes. It is the iconic Scarborough land mark.

Love this area of Christchurch. Terrific barbecue/picnic areas, children's playground, swimming pool for little ones and the lovely ocean, good restaurant and take away bar.

Its a pretty solid clock tower. If you like clock towers you'll love this bad boy. Try being a small child and having your dad chase you round it acting like a monster for the best possible experience.
