My experience with the valley in tavern was primarily positive. Upon arriving at the Heathcote Valley inn tavern I immediately noticed an unequivocal and bubbly atmosphere which is was equally shared between the patrons of the bar and the bar staff themselves. I ordered the beef and bacon burger as an easy yet fulling meal and also asked for a few changes in ingredients and they were polite and followed through with my ordered happily and willingly. Receiving my food i was excited. To the eye the meal was visually pleasing and it tasted as good as it looked which was fantastic. The burger unfortunately missed the bacon that was mentioned in the menu. However, it still tasted great and I was happy overall with the experience. I recommend dining at the valley inn tavern on your next trip through Heathcote.

Fantastic place on Anzac day. Gold coin donation for a hot breakfast. Great entertainment too, With The City of Christchurch Highland Pipe Band.
Awesome food, tasted amazing. Service was also amazing. Only issue I had was the portion size, just a little bigger would've been great. But overall a very nice meal.
I had the fish and chips - nice... I had serious menu envy on the salmon. I was really enjoying watching the rugby in Japan but with 15 minutes to go they changed channel... I then watched the NZ Maori women playing rugby league - they were "o for awesome" .

Great meal, good price. Was 75 for a Big breakfast, 2 lots of eggs Benedict, coffee and 2 hot chocolates. The meals was very enjoyable with friendly service, a very clean and well presented publican establishment. I'd come back for another meal and would happily stay for a few beers!

Great meal, perfect service! Awesome dining experience. Classic pub meal with an inviting twist. Very reasonably priced, only thing no Ouzo available at the bar
