Turned up tonight at 7 as they looked quiet they had maybe 15 seated who where all eating. There was no hostess at door as he was talking with at least 2 other staff at bar. I asked if they could do a party of seven and he said he had to check with the kitchen. He came back after a female who was shaking her head no and told me they where too busy. I could count at least 15 empty tables.....at least lone star across the road which had every table full and had bookings told us it would be a hour wait.

Delicious wholesome meal. Relaxed warm atmosphere. Great service.
While the food was good, the service was poor. Staff that did not seem to care, and very easily forgot the most of basic drink orders and did not or could not hear our questions properly resulting in incorrect drinks orders. While we were happy with the quality of food that came out and all enjoyed our meals, the time it took to cook a couple of burgers and some fish and chips was quite ridiculous. This was the first breaking point, and when we questioned our waitress about the length, she went and got the duty manager who then proceeded to defend themselves, rather than just reassuring us that they were doing their best. Either way, at least we now know another place not to return to.
Yes, its overpriced. Ordered the ribeye, when have my first cut taste, it does not taste fresh. No sauce given except a small dish plate of butter mixed with fine parsley ( I think) just like butter on the garlic bread. Even with sauce requested, had my second cut with sauce, the ribeye still smells and wont taste further. I will never go back there again.
Had dinner here on Saturday night 25th of March, the thunder and lightning feature is broken, they forgot to make my meal, stopped serving drinks at 10:20pm when they said that they closed at 11pm. The music was just the edge radio station. We were the only table there from about 830pm. Meal was alright once I received it. But overall very disappointing.
Lovely space to relax and enjoy a great meal with friends. Friendly staff, good food and great service.
Food was over priced and small portions and slowest service i have seen other people just left. I recommend going across the road to lone star.
