I recently moved to Christchurch from Wellington and stayed at Wigram lodge for 3 weeks. I highly recommend the establishment. It was clean, and comfortable with all amenities well serviced. The management team of Julie and Jenny are two of the most gracious and helpful people I have met in a long time. If you are an independent person looking for safe accommodation then you cant go wrong here .

Staff are friendly and the place is quiet and warm. Amenities are kept clean. Good security on site. Plenty of people to chat to or keep to yourself. Good for long or short stay. Easy access to shops and the malls a short distance away.
I just stayed 10 days and I did not get back my bond. Room was tidy condition. It was no reason to take my money terrible
For me it is the perfect place to stay. I sold my place with the view of down sizing and staying here in the meantime. It is so convenient I have decided to stay for the foreseeable future. It is very safe with video surveillance and after hours security staff. It is very clean, warm and quiet. Conveniently close to Hornby and Wigram shopping malls and a block of local shops within a few hundred metres. The garden and the buildings are well maintained and the office ladies and other staff are fabulous. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. You can keep to yourself if you prefer or if you like to socialise - there are plenty of friendly and interesting people to talk to if you go down to the courtyard or lounges. I highly recommend the lodge - long or short term
Wonderful staff and a real community of tenants that are helpful, social and easy to get along with. Definitely worth looking at if you need a place to stay, short or long term
Was at the Lodge for just over a year. Staff always helpful & friendly. Room was quite comfortable especially over the winter months with the central heating. Facilities were good and noted that they were cleaned regularly. Lodge rules were enforced.
Excellent service working in emergency accommodation situation. And all with Smile much appreciated.
