Friendly service, local cuisine, and home-made grandma-style quality! The prices are very reasonable, and the view on the old town is nice. Was delicious, hot and filling. Served with love and attention. Salsa and guacamole can be better. Right on old town square it’s a good dinner option with family.

This restaurant is simply great with variety of choices, including gluten free and vegan choices... portions are generous and prices are affordable... terrace is located on beautiful old town square... if I ever visit Chur again I will go back to this restaurant! Highly recommended!
Set in a charming village square, this gem offered a real taste of old school local Swiss food. Primarily marketed as a Mexican restaurant, which looked tasty, we choose to try a little local plate, which proved very satisfying. Friendly family run with strong spoken English and, would highly recommend.
We were desperate to find somewhere with a free table that would please varied palates from a picky adolescent to those who loved or hated spice and cheese... so not an easy crew to please. This place fit the bill, and the bill was not outrageous, for Switzerland. Everything was great.
I've initially selected 4 stars but am changing it to 5 for the simple reason that you can taste the passion and love put into the dish...I've eaten there twice and I will certainly go back! Good Job Zum Metzgertor! And btw: If you prefer corn tortillas for your fajitas they will accommodate you!
Tried it the first time and was pleased. I'd say even more than pleased. Merely two points I wasn't 100% satisfied or surprised by. 1) The amount of salsa, sour cream and guacamole was too little. 2) I was surprised to taste cumin in my Fajita meat. I like cumin but did not expect it in a Mexican dish.

Great food! Well placed with good choice of Mexican and Local food and the best is...for affordable prices! Worth the try!
