Some of the freshest, tastiest produce and meat in town. Best baguette in town too. Look for the weekly specials and health/wellness sales.

Went in today for the first time since the re-open. I gotta say, I wasn't impressed. They have much less product than before. Everything is spaced out to make it look full, but it's so much less. I bought a canned matcha drink, only to find out it expired before the store even reopened. Seems like they didn't sell out of everything when they closed and put stuff away in storage, and then restocked it. But maybe check your dates? Gross.

We were excited about their reopening, since we live nearby. First, the positive: the fish counter and display looked excellent. On the negative side: everything we've purchased from their deli counter has turned out awful. We've tried, in the past week: (1) broccoli-cheese quiche, (2) vegan breakfast burrito, (3) turkey wrap, and (4) tuna-cheese wrap. These offerings, by and large, were between mediocre and terrible. The quiche (1) was more cheese than eggs - average. The breakfast burrito (2) was a tortilla stuffed with unseasoned tofu and redskin potatoes (couldn't find any of the sweet potatoes or peppers advertised). It was possibly the blandest fare I've had in a long time, but at least it was edible. The turkey wrap (3) had very little turkey (1 shaved slice), a slice from a mealy tomato, and a bunch of lettuce that hadn't been properly washed. The tuna-cheese wrap (4) had way more (cheap) grated cheese than tuna, and tasted awful. We threw the wraps in the garbage. I do hope that Earth Fare can improve the quality of what they're turning out from their deli, quickly, or they may not last long. And that would be a shame. PS - We wound up throwing the quiche in the garbage, too.

I was on a staycation here in Columbia, SC and I shopped at Earthfare quite often because I am vegan and this was the first time I have been back since it open. The feeling is different and the food is not so tasty from the deli. The diversity of the staff is also gone. I hope they will improve on this in the future.

Always quality, clean food. They have a food pledge that promises foods free from so many of the unhealthy things I'm trying to avoid, like added harmones and artificial sweetners. I can find all the special items I'm looking for in one place. The store is clean and bright, and well laid out.
