Was here for an inpatient Med/Surg stay and genuinely appreciated the communication and feeling like I was being included in my care (and not just being told what would happen, or worse, not being told anything at all). Staff was knowledgeable and caring. My first choice for where to go if I have to go to a hospital in the Evansville area. Thank you to the staff for helping me during a very difficult time!

Very nice place. They need a better situation to hold people that use PD dialysis! They have very nice rooms. I did disliked some of the attitudes of the nurses. They need a better understanding of how patients really feel while they are in a hospital. Most of the nurses as well as techs were excellent though.

I was sent to have a cat scan on December 16 2020 at 6:30 pm had to have blood work first the lab nurse who did my labs was so kind and treated me so nice, then they sent me to have my cat scan and again was treated so kind she tried to get a vein and couldn’t so she called the person to do the Iv for the dye and she also was very kind, remember I’m in my 70s and I was scared and I was impressed by the kindness with which I was treated I wanted to express my thanks, Id like for these angels to know how thankful I am , a lot of people do not have the patience to deal with the elderly and we appreciate the kindness and patience. Thank you my name is Shirley Haight.

Was there last year for a craniotomy, stayed there for almost a week and the care was excellent. Everyone was extremely pleasant and attentive.

Avoid at all cost!!! The nurse (Stephanie) is very rude and condescending. She has no answers for any questions and always has to \ask someone else\ before making basic decisions. She has threatened to kick me out of the hospital for making people \uncomfortable\ because I ask everyone if my mom can havesomething to drink. Stephanie should really consider a different line of work. She has no respect or compassion for her patients or their families. I haven't seen the doctor (Mendel) in 2 days. Most of the nurses are treating my mom like a child. My mother has been here for 6 days, all she has been asking for is food and water. They refuse. They say that a specialist (nobody seems to know the specialist name) has to check her first, but the specialist is nowhere to be found. Instead they just ignore my moms request for food and water. No body should have to beg for food and water. It's bordering on abuse. This place should be shut down!
