Too far from the center and bad connection, it feels like it's situated in a desert. No good services such as a shop. Not so safe.

Horrible location compared to the old train station... New name, just \Diano\ instead of Diano Marina. We didn't even get off since we thought we were at the wrong place. No info what so ever. 30 min walk to town centre, no sidewalks and just a dirt road without lights. Lucky for us there were taxi's there when we arrived, cost around 10 Locals hate the new station and so do we. Hard enough to buy the ight\ tickets with a manned ticket service and even worse with just the machine. Still, Diano Marina is a fantastic place especially if you travel with small kids.

Life On The Mediterranean

Learned the hard way how far this station is outside of town. From Diano Marina where we thought we could catch a train, it's a 48-min walk according to GMaps. Terrible location, no transport, poor signage, desolate and dangerous road with little passage for pedestrians. No one knows where/how to find a taxi. We planned to dine in Diano and catch the train back, but not possible. Can't help but think this will negatively affect Diano's business, unless the goal is to reduce tourism.

La nuova stazione di Diano (non più Diano Marina ma solo Diano). Stazione aperta ma con copertura parziale. Essendo nuova lo stato di conservazione è buono. Sono presenti 2 macchinette automatiche per i biglietti ma non c'è la biglietteria. La stazione dista dal centro circa 2,5km. La strada è praticabile a piedi ma in alcuni tratti è poco sicura. Manca su quasi tutta la strada il marciapiede e l'illuminazione notturna è molto scarsa. I bagni ci sono ma quando sono stato io era chiuso, come era chiusa anche la sala di attesa al coperto. Non sono presenti ne bar ne macchinette. È presente un servizio navetta solo in settimana, mai la domenica, ma d'estate ci sono 10 bus giornalieri mentre d'inverno solo 6. Non erano presenti in stazione gli orari del bus.

Due stelle solo perché é carina come stazione, per il resto non sarebbero da dare, per arrivare alla stazione ci vogliono 20/25 minuti di cammino dove ogni tanto si vede un cartello stradale dandoti la direzione, non si hanno marciapiedi ma solo strisce a terra con passaggio pedonale che in certi tratti assente, al mio arrivo c'era un taxi, che arrivata a destinazione ha aggiunto un 0.50 alla corsa dicendo che forse era rotto il tassametro... pensilina bus inesistente e non si può capire quindi a che ora passa il pulmino, c'è un cartello taxi con il numero sotto. Per salire al binario 1 non c'è segnaletica infatti chi non lo sa prende le scale pensando sia il binario 2 e deve fare doppia strada... un centro informazioni trenitalia potrebbe metterlo... molto disorganizzati.
