He didn’t even know the standard term “Full Tank”, which every gas station employee should know. I also once worked and excellently served English-speaking clients. Each refueling worker should know a minimum of terms for service. I asked him in several languages to fill the full tank of my car, and he asked how I understood if I would pay in cash. I replied that I would. He told me and showed that I have to give money and I gave him 1000 kr. After that, he put my bill into the machine and asked for more, and I gave him another 500 kr. He refueled my car with a full tank, but the amount on the screen showed only 901 kr for payment. I asked the employee to return me the balance, but he replied that he could not return anything and gave me an additional receipt with the balance. What should I do with this receipt now? I live in another country and just had to return the rented car with a full tank. Seeing that there were foreigners in front of him, the worker had to warn that the machine didn’t give out the rest, then I would give him small bills until I filled the tank completely. We were in a hurry on the plane, because the road from Marianske Lazne took us an hour longer. Therefore, we could not continue to argue, I asked the employee to call his boss, but he still didn’t understand what I want from him. As a result, the lack of professionalism of the employee led to the fact that I paid almost twice as much for petrol that I didn’t receive.
