Lovely place with amazing aperitif and antipasti. Generous portion for pasta and secondi. It has a quiet and calm air, great place to take a breather and enjoy lunch.

Take An Onion

Wow. We've ordered three different menues and all of them were simply phenomenal. The menues include 4 courses and the offering very limited but the quality is even better. The staff ist fast, friendly and multilingual. But the biggest pro is the location in a backyard with few tables so you have an authentical family based flair.

It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived in Domodossola (april 2019). We were on a cycling trip, so we were happy to arrive in a warm and dry place. The 'locanda' is a beautiful place, the 'patrone' immediately offered us tea and coffee and made us feel welcome. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was the best we had that holiday. We will certainly go back there!

Very nice and friendly staff. Room was hot and stuffy - no air-conditioning or fan. Street noise from pedestrians is an issue and local street events can be very loud and run late into the evening ... Not a good place if you're looking for a good night's sleep!

A beautiful little restaurant with delicious food, and amazing service. They start you off with a glass of free champagne and the bread comes in a woven bag. Absolutely classy.
