Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony. We work to protect children’s rights and encourage the self-reliance of communities. Since 1991, Good Neighbors has implemented projects that promote and protect child rights, strengthen the global partnership and advocate the rights of the most vulnerable in a respectful and effective way. Our mission is to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony. In 1996, we were granted the General Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC, and in 2007, our contributions where acknowledged granting us the ‘MDGs Award.’ The organizations’ Community Development Projects has a multilateral approach to education, health, sanitation, and income generation. Through these projects, we aim to promote self-reliance and improve life quality. In Tajikistan, the organization has been working to support civil war orphans in Dushanbe. Currently, we are helping more than 12,000 children in 5 regions through regular sponsors and by conducting various projects for community development.
