The hospitality was pleasant and warm. The traditional Romanian food is beyond expectations and of course the whole atmosphere has a special authenticity of the area. You can order traditional romanian food as well as traditional german food. The highlight of the evening was the well-known Romanian traditional "Papanaș". I recommend this restaurant with pleasure!

A little far from the city but well situated , nice staff providing good services, good food. Fish is a food that I can never deny. I had a traditional Romanian dish over an old recipe that had a unique flavor. White zonal wine was wonderful. At the desert I served a traditional dessert - some donuts with cheese called Papanasi - a feast.
This is a Gasthaus with restaurant in Essenheim. Very good food and excellent service. The place is quiet and calm. A free parking space is available nearby

Katastrophal. Völlig zu Recht geschlossen und kein Verlust für Essenheim. Es bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass der nächste Pächter mehr von seinem Handwerk versteht. Der letzte taugt noch nicht mal für eine Pommesbude, geschweige denn für ein Traditionslokal.
Durchschnittliche Hausmannskost mit viel Fertigprodukten. Am Ende gibt's Selbstgebrannten aufs Haus - soviel man will. Den braucht man auch, denn auf den Toiletten herrschen bedenkliche hygienische Zustände. Vermutlich ist die an sich freundliche Ehefrau des Pächters nicht nur die einzige Servicekraft, sondern auch für den Sanitärbereich zuständig - und damit offensichtlich überfordert. Die gähnende Leere in diesem Lokal an einem Samstagabend (!) ist leider ein Warnhinweis.
