We were looking for a Sushi place that would not be the super upscale but not a fast food either. Katana Sushi proved to be he perfect place!
The decoration is sober, tasteful and warm. The touch of the Japanese culture is given by a few typical paintings and an extremely relaxing Japanese music that creates a really cozy atmosphere. The only hiccup in this aspect was the excessive light coming from the stylish wooden lamps (hence only the ****).
The food: we tried the Crab/avocado, spicy tuna, salmon/avocado. It was delicious and the food was served extremely quickly (still freshly made).
The selection of beers is small (2) but Asahi is of course present!
We will be back.

I am an amateur culinary enthusiast and finally decided to take a more formal culinary course to hone my skills. I also wanted to get some advice from a real chef, so this was my first foray into the world of culinary institutions and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision with Poul's French Dining School in Brittany. First off, Poul is an extremely good chef, amazing teacher and is filled with a wealth of knowledge of all things food and the restaurant business in general. Second, Poul and Niall are the most generous hosts and genuine people I have ever met. Conversation was never dull and my drink was never dry. Lastly, I would be hard pressed to find a more gorgeous home and kitchen. It has all the feel and authenticity you would expect from a 15th century home in the Bretagne countryside, yet with all the amenities of the 21st century. Whether you are a novice or experienced chef you will learn something here and have an amazing experience in the process, I can guarantee it. I'll certainly be coming back for more. Je suis très peu chinois, mais j'ai aimé le concept. Les personnes aimant le chinois peuvent être accompagné de personnes n'aimant pas car possibilité de manger \\français\\ j'y ai vu pâté en croute, bavette, escargots, plateau de fromage, brochettes de légumes etc ...

after reading some negative reviews, I was cautious, but I got to say I was very positively surprised.
Plus: very friendly staff, my El Diablo Burrito was very good and hot, the corn battered fries where amazing. the cocktails where good and the overall presentation was perfect. also the prices got lower then what most complained about here, I had a cocktail, Burrito and desert for about 32 euros total.
negative: my friend had the shrimp tacos, apparently they where a bid bland and missing salt, some salt on the table would have solved this already. the two waiters where a bit overwhelmed when the terrasse was full, maybe get one or two more waiters and it's fine. I asked about their dessert of the day and it took almost 40 minutes, and we where about to leave until I got an answer and further 15 minutes until I got the dessert.
Result: overall I would recommend it and go again.
