A very expensive fusion sushi place, set in a modern, dimly lit area. Waiters are friendly. Teppanyaki chef provides good entertainment value as he prepares all sorts of dishes. He's happy to take questions during his cooking. What I liked about our chef is his cleanliness: always wearing gloves and meticulously cleans his station regularly. What I didn't like is that 3 Salmons dishes we asked for quick searing, similar to medium rare for steaks, but he cooked it too long. Additionally another friend asked for a medium steak and it was almost well done. There are some gimmicky things like smoked infused sushi or using a small blow torch to melt the cheese? and if that's your thing then fine. I tasted no real difference to the final product that warranted the price tag. If you are there for a special occasion and want to also be entertained, this might be your cuppa tea. For me, a sushi place that doesn't even have udon on the menu is a joint I won't be in a hurry to return to.

Definitely an amazing experience with amazing food and drinks. It is pricey, but you get top notch service and food. You start off your meal with a palate cleanser (sorbet), and complimentary pot stickers. I definitely want to go back to try more.
What an absolutely amazing experience!!! We have never been to a Japanese restaurant and decided to go there with some friends for my husband's birthday and what a treat it was for all of us!! The food was out of this world with amazing taste, the atmosphere just perfect and the staff friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile! We will definitely return.
Attentive service. A lovely menu that caters to all dietary requirements. The orange cappuccino is a must try and the dim sum combo 2 is absolutely divine, especially the prawn and cream cheese variety. The Chicken Teppanyaki is good but nothing to write home about. One star lost because the outside seating arrangement is tight near the entrance - at one stage another customer was less than a metre away from me as there were 4 people hosted at a 2 seater (which felt like we were sardines in a can). Slightly concerning considering we still in the middle of a global pandemic. Another star lost as the Chicken Katsu Curry is on the salty side.
This restaurant is great. Food was excellent and service was off the page great even though the restaurant was extremely busy. We were really looked after. Our waiter was first class. Sushi was very good, main course very very good. Highly recommend the Teppanyaki cashew nut chicken ... world class...thanks guys will definitely be back.
We had an incredible experience from beginning to end with the Yamitsuki family. From superb service, to Devine food and entertaining cocktails. We really had an amazing time. 100% would definitely recommend Yamitsuki to anyone looking for an exclusive meal as well as a everyday meal! Thank you for effortlessly making our lunch a memorable one!
Absolutely loved the food here. I had a salmon and avocado poke bowl. I must say I was blown away. Everything was fresh and tasted really good and the portions were very decent as well. The staff is supper friendly and efficient.
Had lots of fun. Great food very friendly staff and great and interesting food. A must go for anybody who enjoys sushi and something different
