This is next to the Saint Monica church near Bom Jesus. One of the most well maintained and architecturally inspiring museums I have seen. Infact it is one of the very few monuments where I could see a auto climber for stairs for handicapped. They also have very unique sculptures and art works including ivory carved art pieces. Entry fees is 50 Rs. Worth visiting.

Very good experience i guess they charge you a 50rs ticke।they have a cafe there to chill, historical items made of gold silver elephant teeth, wooden carving dating long back in 1500's. Tells a lot about culture and historical art and a lot.opposite to st augustine tower.must visit.

Being a history buff, I had one of the most engaging, informative and enlightening experiences on a guided tour/trail of Monte Santo (Holy Hill) with the Museum of Christian Art, this also included a visit to the museum. The trail, the 1st for 2021 was led by a conservation architect and the curator of the museum who are extremely passionate about history and historical conservationism. I would highly recommend a visit here or opt for the Museum's guided trails.

This place lies on the way to Our lady of rosary church. The ambience is amazing and so are the artifact's. Entry ticket - 50/-, child -20/-. Car parking available outside the gate. The small cafe inside the premise ran by Dee and Terry is guaranteed to give you the much needed cool down you require during the church hopping. Covid protocols followed rigorously and the place was kept Spick and span.omce you climb the stairs to the view point on the second floor, it gives a top view to the altar of Saint Monica church. And this place has mechanised chairs for differently abled as well.

The best part about this museum is that you not only get to see the museum but also get to see the Church of Santa Monica which is otherwise closed for the outsiders.

The small but wonderful museum is well endowed with christian artifacts with subtle Indian influence. I had the pleasure of taking the guided tour (at an expense of extra 50 INR only) from none other than the curator of the museum, Mx Natasha. A very well informed and articulate person, She explained to me in detail about the relics of the past how these artifacts had unique indian influences like the bells, curly hair, hairs inspired from buddha and Gandhara school of art etc. It was impressive to have the curator herself as your guide, history buff should definitely go for this experience. Museum is located inside one half of Convent of Santa Monica, the other half of the church is breath taking as well. One can buy goodies from here. Outside there are more old churches like tower of St Augstine and Basilica of Bom Jesus where remains of St Francis Xavier lie and Archaeological Museum of Goa. If you dont have your own vehicle, nearby Gandhi circle has a good connectivity to Panjim bus stand from where one can take bus to practically anywhere in Goa. PS: Have tried to use gender-neutral pronouns but let me if it needs any change.Changed!

Beautiful infrastructure. Well maintained. Not so far from Panjim. Well connected with highway. Must visit this place least once.
