From the main road you’d be wrong to think there isn’t a great deal going on at Hoar Park. It’s a gem of a country village business setting. You’ll find cafes, art shops, a fruit and veg and an icecream parlour (to name but a few things). On a beautiful day there is ample space in the court yard to stretch the legs and relax.

A lovely morning out. Good value for money at both the farm and in the restaurant. Huge slices of cake for dessert! My two year old loves going here with his two and three year old cousins. Keeps them all entertained for a morning/ afternoon between the farm and the play area. I would highly recommend a trip here.

This place was great. Loved the farm, loads of animals, fed them by hand. Bunnies were gorgeous but we would have liked to hold them and that didn't seem like an option. Love the sausages from the butchers. Bit of a concern about the sweet shop. There was a kid serving (?! Didn't look more than about 13/14) and not only sad he super slow, he didn't know anything about food hygiene. Watched him serve up sweets for a customer and pick up the ones that fell on the counter and put them back in the bag etc etc. We had ice cream and I watched him like a hawk - not sure they'd pass good hygiene! Had a nice cake from the restaurant and ate our picnic on the benches. Nice day out, some other lovely shops there too like an affordable build a bear concept.

Great place for little ones ample parking thats free, has a various small shops in the courtyard however beware this is a gravel courtyelard and may prove difficult with a heavy wheelchair or pushchair. They have a restaurant onsite and a cafe that serves tea and coffee and some really nice icecreams. The farm is reasonably priced for entry but again the farm walk is on a hill so and some parts of in long grass so can make pushing a pushchair difficult on the way back. They have a small petting area where sometimes they get the small animals out for people to have a closer look and have hands on experiance. They is also a park area for little ones to play with some amazing views. Well worth a visit and friendly people.
