Don’t go here if you are a vegan. They serve you with a beyond burger between two pieces of salad and onion. No sauce and barely a handful of fries for 195 sek. People in the restaurant looked surprised when they saw my plate. I complained about it and wasn’t offered any compensation.

Beautifully situated with a wide view of the strait and the islands, this small island restaurant serves extremely tasty and gorgeously presented dishes, and has a sizeable wine cellar. Their home-made sausage is a masterpiece.
A bit pricey I would say. But it’s summer, so I understand. I think this is the only restaurant in this island. One thing I will remember is you have to pay for the water, it’s because the water in this island is not drinkable. They said. I ordered regular burger . Not the best burger I had tried. It’s ok. They also have beyond meat burger for you vegetarian people.

Great restaurant with amazing views overlooking the water, perfect place to spend an afternoon. Food well priced for what you get, one of the best desserts we had in Sweden!
Nice island and the restaurant would have potential but meeting the hostess sadly put a huge damper on the whole experience. Completely self-consumed and was just blatently rude to everyone around her. Condescending with us and the couple in front of us, it seemed she had much better things to do than provide customers with any measure of service. She shewed everybody away to wait 1 hour at a bar whilst 7 tables gaped open ALL afternoon. Clearly to have you huddle at the bar and drink. We took a beer anyway (we are on vacation so why not right) but only to hear it from yet another couple at the bar who had the same experience. We ate lunch which was average and took the boat back to the city. It's just a shame because we were were really looking forward to eating there but the experience put a bad taste in our mouth. Vaxholm was much better so don't bother with places who clearly don't want to serve customers.
