Staff is helpful and shows willingness to serve everytime. Recently took my 1week old baby to the wellness clinic and I left the place feeling better equipped as a parent because of the amazing service from the attending nurse. The cashiers, packers and even cleaners were kind.

I've handed a script in to be filled in the morning. They did not have all the medication and where going to get it from another branch. Julia assured me that it will be delivered the same day and I gave her my cell phone number to phone me should they not be able to deliver. No one phoned me to keep me up to date. I phoned Dischem twice during the day and Julia assured me that delivery will take place. By 17:50 when I phoned again I was informed that delivery will not take place and that they are closing at 18:00. They proceeded to tell me how busy they are and something about their delivery motorcycle. At 18:00 my wife went to collect my script and bought the medication elsewhere. If they kept me informed and where honest i would have had my medication in the morning from another chemist. I'm totally disgusted with their lack of service and lackluster attitude towards their customers. I will never support them again. Serious management problem.

Was assisted by a young pharmacist by the name Que at the prescribed medication counter,he was so helpful and patient. He went over and above to assist me,obtain further information on my medication and side effects as well as medical recommendations without me asking him to. He went as far as walking me to the exact aisle for additional meds and then later ran up to the till point to meet me to tell me about some additional information he received from his collegue about the medication I had purchased. He did not have to do that. He was so amazing and helpful. She was so careful in what meds he administered and the additional medication he recommended.

If it is chronic medication that you have order 3 to 4 days in advance, forget it, in fact give this place a wide berth! Third month in a row no Meds, then you have to wait and wait. Staff incompetent in dealing efficiently with customers, and the list goes on and on. Normally I wouldn't give this negative review but after three times and the way the problem was dealt with every time? I get it my monthly order is not that big so they probably don't need my money therefor I have now taken my script away from them and will be going to Pick n Pay and Clicks Pharmacies in future. Dis-chem will not get my business ever again.

Been there today. Self medication line was 8 to 9 people long all the time. Only one person helping customers. Other ladies very slowly unpacking boxes. Looked for manager but he didnt answer his phone when they called him. Youngster claiming to be the manager said he would handle it. But even after we did all our shopping and passed the same line again only one other lady came to assist customers. Line even longer still. Line to make payment double that. Took photos. Will publish to social media.
