Sure, the service is good, and it saves about 100km drive around. But it is too expensive to compete. The 29CHF is around 3x the price of the gas to drive around.

by my calculations this saved about 1hr on my journey to Zermatt. I'd suggest buying the ticket on-line as it saves you a few CHFs but is just easier at the paystation to scan the QR code. Process is easy, you wait in-line with your car, then drive onto the train. park and then drive off the train at the other end. We used it on our outward and return trips.

Awesome experience to have our car transported over a train...

Fun, so much faster than driving around, about 28 bucks online for a regular car, the drive up and down on the other side are beautiful!

Simple and fast way to Vallis. If youuse your smartphone to display the QR-code, set your screen as bright as possible.

Very efficient way to get through the mountains by car. Its a bit creepy when everything is shaking like crazy but all is good.

The surprise of the day. Even our driver was caught unaware as the route we took was the first time he took the mountain route to Tasch. We drove and the whole car got onto the train with us inside and off we go through a long long long tunnel and emerged on the other side of the mountain range. It was surreal.
