I started working with Sandi several years ago and originally had a great relationship. I even referred her to several friends and business acquaintances. Then I had her take over finances for my other company. Since then everything has gone downhill. - She stopped doing my books, but continued to charge me for them. - She misclassified the owners compensation. - She filed my taxes without my permission, did them incorrectly, and then refused to give my books (that were never correctly done) over to my new accountant until I paid her. Almost a year later and we’re still trying to clean up the mess they created. Apparently my friends have had similar experiences.

I had a good experience the first time around, but this year I have had a lot of issues. I had an issue submitting my documents on their site, so I sent a secure email. I called a two weeks later to check the status and they told me on the 3rd call that they had never received the documents. They said they left me a voicemail letting me know about not having received the documents, but I have no record of the call. I decided to do my taxes myself this time and asked that they mail me the return from last year. They assured me that there would be no charge for shipment. I called let them know I had not received the documents and they agreed to send them again, but they sounded upset and did not tell me there would be a charge. Out of nowhere, they emailed me an invoice for the second shipment. I was lucky enough to catch it before they mailed the tax return out. I plan to pick the documents up myself instead. I wish they had called, rather than just assuming I would want to make that payment. I must say, since I told them I wanted to do my taxes myself, they have not been very friendly on the phone.
