Not much to see. I think it's only for people who are interested in the history behind it. However it's nice to see to which lengths the local authorities have gone to protect the tree. Many restaurants are nearby and the castle is a short walk from there, but not accessible to the public at the time because of damage from an earthquake a few years before.

It’s not a lot to see but the history behind it Makes it worth while and on a beautiful day the whole area looks amazing, definitely worth a trip to see it
Place is great for itself and the history. Yet as everywhere on Kos island, there is so much garbage. Either you drive down the road, or visit thousands of years old monuments. It really breaks my heart...
The greek Islands are absolutely stunning places with breath taking views. They hold and cherish their history whilst giving tourists a warm welcoming with their great hospitality which is second to none. I could very easily retire here.
As this tree has a place in history great care has been taken to preserve and protect it. However, the supporting structure has, to some degree, spoiled its photographic appeal. Of course these measures have been taken to preserve history and rightly so. Nevertheless it is still something to be viewed and appreciated bearing in mind its association to Hippocrates.
This ancient tree is so old that it was nice to see it before it goes completely, though I feel it will out live me! It's free to view and held up by a metal framework.
Something cool to see, but the area around the tree doesn't seem to be well maintained. At theend of theday I'm on vacation and got some nice pics.
Its a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Music and TV. Poppy and Yanni are great hosts
