The Japan Dude

This is the second Osaka-style kushikatsu restaurant I’ve tried in Kumamoto. The sauce had the right flavor and was a bit thicker than the first I tried. The menu is diverse and the food tasty. You can get another bowl of cabbage, but the sizes of the pieces were not consistent. I either got a huge piece with three leaves connected or a piece too small to dip in the sauce (no double-dipping!) One other issue was the breading falling off the food—as a rule, that doesn’t happen in Osaka. I do want to give props for Kumamoto for working to improve the station area. [EDIT] : I’m on my second visit here, and the food is a step up from what I remember. A star has been added accordingly. Keep up the good work!

熊本出張で利用させていただいてます。 アスパラの1本揚げも入るランチセットはボリュームもあり、午後からの活力、脂補給にちょうど良い！！

初めてここに来ました！ からあげ定食を食べました 唐揚げはサクサク、激辛ソースは、やや辛党の自分によく合う甘めのソースでした(風味はマックのナゲットみたいな感じ) 肉吸い、初めて食べたけど　健康に良さそうな感じがしてすぐに飲み尽くしました 美味しかったです！

どうしても「だるま」の美味しさが忘れられなくて、「串カツ田中」が星4つになってしまってますが、熊本で串カツを食べるとなると我が家はよくここに行きます。なかなか美味しいと思います。駅ナカなので、少し旅行気分になれるかも…。駐車場も駅の駐車場３箇所にとめれば、300円券がもらえます。
