What a nice place, we visited on a Sunday and there was a band playing with traditional local music and wearing traditional clothes. The raclette was excellent, just how I like it and the portions were large. My mother lives here in the neighborhood and next time we visit I would love to come again.

I just passed by and they were very helpful with direccions as to where I was going. It looks nice for kids and to have a drink, but it was not the perfect weather for it, rayher cold and foggy
From the cable car which comes up from the town of Küssnacht, the Alpwirtschaft Ruodisegg is only about a half hour's walk at most. It is a welcome resting place and somewhere you can get hot food and a coffee and use the facilities. They have a raclette stove, and you can even buy some bratwurst and grill them yourself on one of the hearths scattered around the trail (with the firewood helpfully stored nearby for your use). There are goats and donkeys grazing nearby the cafe which plays traditional music to create a pleasant atmosphere. It's somewhere you can sit outside and admire the splendid view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Lucern.
