Fantastic service, and great food! If you're looking for a nice change from your standard Italian food while on the beautiful archipelago of La Maddalena - come here for a nice escape. The service is outstanding, and the food is delicious (especially the amazing red wine we had). The cheese and salami platter offered as one of several appetizers is standard for an Italian antipasto, but if you're not in the mood for that, there are other options! The main dishes that we had were meat, instead of traditional pasta. I have to say it was very tasty, and I would definitely go again if given a chance, primarily for the service as it was so good and memorable! The ambiance of the restaurant is very casual but tasteful, and it was the perfect place to have a date with my boyfriend! Loved the restaurant, and would recommend it tourists and locals alike, especially since the food is such high quality!

We were looking for something authentic and cosy looking (not tourist-like) when staying in La Maddalena. Found this wonderful restaurant! This place is highly recommended because the service was VERY warm, humorous, and the meals and sides wonderful and very specially tasting. Probably one of the best choices throughout Sardinia. We saw the good recommendations, so we reserved here. We we’re very looking forward for the good food, but the ribs we’re without taste and very though. You get only 4 tasteless ribs for 15 euro and if you want some vegetables or patatoes etc. You had to order it seperately. The pasta was okay but it was 18 euros for a very small amount. We both weren’t full and when we wanted to pay, they had no change. We should get 20 back but they gave 9 in coins and didn’t understand the maths when explained multiple times. Never had such a bad experience in a restaurant and it is definitely way too overpriced.

So I’m probably going against previous reviews but when you spend this amount it needs to be noted for other diners. Was told the suckling pig was to die for. Actually it died last week and has been sat drying in the sun then warmed up with no crackling. And the fillet steak was sinewy and simply hard work. Maybe we had an off day but we didn’t get a discount to reflect it so I’m left wondering why we bothered
