Contained Design started as an entrepreneurial project for the Master programme Entrepreneurship & Innovation - New Venture Creation at Lund University in Sweden. The founding team consists of Sem & Nick who share an interest in architecture, design, and sustainable innovations. Combining their expertise, knowledge, and network, they have initiated Contained Design. Together they strive to make sustainable living accessible to everyone - solving the housing crisis and reducing greenhouse gases. The aim of Contained Design is to build sustainable modular homes. The idea is originally inspired by shipping containers. Using the same dimension sizes and steel frames in order to make the modules affordable and flexible. Using container-sized modules allows for cost-efficient design while remaining aesthetically pleasing. Core values of the concept are affordability - flexibility - sustainability Curious about our projects? You can visit our website for more information.
