Good place to have a coffee or a beer in Leeuwarden. Rather brassy ye olde style interior as expected. Nice big outdoor terrace on the canal. Apple pie with built-in cream layer was at least a bit different from usual.

Nice location, horrible service. just one waitress taking care of a large number of tables, she was doing her best but clearly there were too many customers. had to wait 30 min before I could order a drink, while other stuff members were happily chatting and eating inside the bar. never again.
It was OK, the hot chocolate was very nice!
Fun location when able to eat outside on the waters edge
The environment is pretty nice, the food is average Netherlands quality, good place for people who need some rest
