Right across the bridge, u will find the best ice cream shop in Leeuwarden. Their name: translates to \ ice cream farm\; using only milk from local farmers. Their choices are limited but that only proofs the freshness and awesomeness of their ice cream you will get there. I had a chocolate and blueberry scoop totalling 2.80eur. Staff speaks english and will help you out with making a choice. Though there are no vegan options, but that would be not the right place. If u take your time u may watch the bridge rising every other 10min to let the boats pass a great spectacle to see.
