Beautiful setting and delicious local cuisine. An assortment of wild vegetables and squid polpette were the highlights. Service was very friendly and welcoming. I ate at several restaurants in the area and this was the best.

We rented a car to island crawl and found ourselves in Rinella around lunchtime. Being May and midweek there wasn’t a whole lot open but we saw some people in Pa.PeRo just up from the wharf and took a chance. We sat in the patio area, looked at the menu and had ordered when I decided to have a look inside the bar and found that there were about 20 dishes that don’t make the menu and they all looked great. We quickly changed our order by choosing a few different dishes and emphasing “piccolo misto”. So glad we did. Delicious food made by Mamma. Wild fennel and peppers. Calamari ripieni, chicory with tomatoes, etc etc. Exactly the sort of food we had been missing. They also make their own gelato but we were too full to fit it in. Lovely spot, lovely food and lovely people. Cost was a touch under 50 and worth every penny.
