Such a lovely cafe, with really delicious cakes and biscuits. We stayed in the area for five days and came back everyday as it was by far the tastiest and best value deserts around. The staff were friendly and the place is clean with a nice atmosphere. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area in front, although protect your food from the pigeons as they are quick to take your food if you're not looking! They also do really nice pastries and sandwiches here as well. Prices were really good, only 2.80 for some of the best cakes I've had in a long time and I think 3.50 for pastries. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in Lisbon, anything you try here you will be happy with!

I read few other reviews about impolite service or expensive milk for the coffee. Well, Lisbon isn't a cheap place. About the pastries and cakes. They are properly made. The famous pastry has a light yolk taste which I like. I haven't been to all cake places in Lisbon but this one is a real thing.

Fantastic cafe close to Rua Augusta with a great choice of pastries, some of which I could sadly only eat with my eyes. I didn't experience any of the problem other reviewers had with service, which I thought was excellent. I think there's a few indoor seats, but they definitely have plenty of outdoor seats.

They tried to trick me, the woman that was serving me, charged me more than she was supposed to. It was a very sad situation

Very poor pastel de nata - greasy. Good orange juice

Let me start by saying that we would never have eaten here if it wasn’t for our walking tour. This is located in a super touristy part of town and they make all these sweets in neon colors, which often equates to a tourist trap. Our tour guide bought us their pasteis de nata and I was pleasantly surprised. By this time we’d tried this famed pastry from at least 5 places, including Monteigaria. For me this was the perfect one. The pastry is slightly thicker and flakier than that of Monteigaria and the filling is not as sweet, striking the perfect balance!

Best pastel de nata in town! I’ve had plenty in Lisbon Centre, they have the best. The filling is not too sweet, flakey layers, tastes really nice!
