Please, save your money and spend it somewhere else to avoid yourself a horrible situation. The employees of this company lied and took advantage of us. We called this company multiple times and asked them a lot of questions before actually booking. Based on their promises, we decided to book. They made sure we thought everything was in order. But after booking and transferring the money, they asked us to pay extra fees which was not communicated before. They also told us immediately that we were only able to receive 50% of our money back if we cancel due to cancellation fees. Which is not fare... We shouldn’t be forced to pay the extra fees in the first place. I am really really disappointed. I know that companies are facing a hard time right now, but that’s no excuse for scamming people.

BEWARE OF SCAM!!! A hotel that scams his guests and only want to squeeze money!!!! Booked a room to celebrate with friends at the hotel. Before we made the booking, we called and spoke 3 (!!!) times with them to discuss all the reservations aspects and services provided. We have CLEARLY made our intentions and they promised us that this was all fine! So we booked the place and everything went fine. But then, after the moment that the cancellation fee was 50%, the conditions suddenly changed. What was agreed was no longer valid, only if we paid more money. We had to pay 85,- (!!) per person extra for food and drinks?? While we already paid 925,- for the accommodation... 85,- is insane, especially for places like Lisbon... otherwise we're not able to come to this place, except without any food or drinks. This was of course unacceptable and we cancelled our booking, but of course we only received 50% of our total price. They will probably give a comment on this review, where they claim that we didn't made our intentions clear and that they're still happy to receive us and that these services are not mandatory. While they obviously are, because we're only able to go there if we pay 85,-(!) p.p. or without any food or drinks... For me, this kind of behaviour is clearly criminal and this hotel squeeze money out from his customers' in a sleazy way. This is clearly fraud and I hope that my customer review can warn many not to book here. Find another hotel where customers are not deceived.

Had a great 4 night stay. My room was roomy and comfortable and I could even open a window. Be aware that there are still a few older rooms that don’t have windows that open to the outside. Breakfast on the rooftop was nice with a great view. Be aware that this isn’t a hotel for people who are struggling with stairs. There is an elevator but that is only starting from the second floor and also not all the way up to the roof terrace.

Unbelievable that an establishment of this stature takes advantage of an already difficult situation. We decided to book this place after already contacting them beforehand to make sure everything was in order. We made our booking through booking.com after which we paid a fixed price. However, the hotel decided to ask us for additional payments just a few days before we arrived. Asking us to pay an additional fee to make use of the normal hotel utilities. This fee was even more than the fixed price that we paid for the rooms at first. Even though we got confirmation on the phone from the hotel staff that we would have access to all the utilities we wanted to use, WITHOUT any extra costs. Please be alarmed by this behavior before booking here. As we obviously wanted to cancel our booking due to this misleading treatment and we were only able to receive 50% cancellation fees. To sum up, the main issues were: Firstly, over-promising us on the phone and in the ad on booking.com what was included in the booking that we made and what we asked for, just to make us proceed with choosing this establishment in the first place. Secondly, this led to the ideal position to extort us. As they were already ensured of 50% of the payment. Which totaled in hundreds of euros. Allowing them to ask for more because the worst case scenario for them was to lose 50% of the payment without having to do any effort because we either did not come or pay extra. I guess the saying "too good to be true" is the perfect proverb for this situation. The financial part is not even the worst. As most of us were looking forward to this trip. I guess verbal fraud is worse than monetary fraud. Suggestion: avoid this place or make sure of 100% return in payment in prospect of a breach of contract

According to your answer : 1. We mostly live all in the same company apartment. Yes. Company apartments have up 10 rooms and considering we’re all living together it does not really increase the possibility to spread Covid. 2. Your staff was not that concerned at all about covid but only about money when they urged us to book TODAY OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE WHOLE AREAS AT YOUR DISPOSABLE. 3. All you listed, was previously been talked on the phone. And yes. We don’t need to buy your service but you would definitely not make possible for us the possiblity to enjoy the common areas as you promisd

Tons of stairs, something to note. There is a tiny lift from 2-4 th floor. Need to take the luggage to 2nd anyway. And few more stairs depending on which floor you stay. Rooftop views are excellent. The rooms are done very well, artistic and contemporary decor. The room has everything one needs, good space, comfy beds, excellent rain shower. Centrally located. Most importantly the staff (Annelise) super friendly and nice. Lot of attention to detail and very kind. Super helpful. Edit: Although one particular lady(with glasses, sorry don’t know the name) at the reception was neither friendly nor helpful. On couple of occasions there were housekeeping towels etc in the lifts making them unusable during the day, and having to carry heavy backpacks across 5 floors. Not anticipated, hence reducing the stars.

Beside the few hundreds steps staircase, the hotel is a lovely one in Lisbon old town center. We get a castle view at 5th floor room. Breakfast is nice, however the rooftop bar doesn't serve much local food during dinner.
