Nice place to take kid's to have outdoor fun. Take wellington boots so they can walk in the stream or through the water of the waterfall. OK its more a water slides down a slope than a waterfall, but still nice. The surrounding woods are quite extensive, and the steam train also has its ending there before returning to apeldoorn.

The waterfall is a bit disappointing. Maybe because there wasn't that much water running down from it. The location and nature surrounding it is beautiful though. Great for a walk or bike ride.

I've been to the waterfalls in Iguazú (Brazil) and Kaiteur (Guyana). Not disappointed. Kids were playing around with the stream and families were having a good time having a stroll around the forest. Come for the waterfalls, but don't stick to it.

What a waste of time. Definitely not what we expected at all. Not cleaned up at all and 100% man made. Very disappointed

You get what you see - A flight of stairs with a tiny amount of water trickling over them. Nothing more. This man made "waterfall" is not worth the pomp and ceremony built up around it. Children seemed to enjoy stomping their feet in the water, so that is great. The "waterfall" is really just a children's playground, nothing more. For adults, the juice is not worth the squeeze. You would rather go hiking in the Veluwe forest instead. P.S., visitors are not allowed to go to the waterfall after sunset (but there is no gate so technically, you can go there anytime).
