We got here early so there was no one around. That helped with the staff's service because we were accommodated at once since we were the only customers there. All safety protocols were observed. The food took a while to be served. I guess that's a trademark of Kuya J restaurants. I ordered their beef pares and it was delicious. Their grilled scallops were amazing as always. The chicharong bulaklak that was served was a bit hard and chewy. Maybe because we let it stand for a while. We ate the grilled scallops first. But all in all, my experience with this branch is quite nice. You just have to time your visit really early to enjoy the place and the service. Because when people start coming in, I'm sure the staff will be runninv around like crazy.

Big menu with many things for all you want to try on the Philippine cuisine. Place is clean and big. Able to sit big party at once. Taste is ok. Portion also ok. Price on the higher side.

Absolutely hated it. The parking was inadequate (it was also on the sidewalk). The servers were slow and irresponsive. They won't bother to help you if you need anything. The menu was the WORST I've ever seen (it wasn't stapled together and it had articles about shoes and cars). The fruit shakes we ordered (mango, watermelon, banana) all tasted like condensed milk. The only bright spot is the interior and the food. It was well lit and had good fixtures. The food was decent. The food took VERY LONG though. It'll be enough to want you to leave.

Food took a long time to arrive, then arrived cold. Didn't complain as we had to rush to next appountment. But very disappointing when you are looking forward to good Filipino food!

Had grilled scallops, bulalo and crispy pata, all superbly cooked to perfection, at Kuya J at Lander's Otis.
