Fantastic restaurant tucked away in Manziana. Lovely and popular spot for pizza and more. In between Roman and Neopolitan style. Great flavors and ambience.

Whether it is for a romantic dinner or a more “lively” gathering with friends, the “Antichi Sapori” offers the perfect setting for any occasion. You would immediately feel and appreciate the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, that is coupled with the friendliness and genuineness of the young owners who always find the time for a chat, over a glass of wine (by the way, the wine list is top-notch!!!) or grappa (I suggest the one made from Barolo or Moscato grapes!!). The menu is original, inviting, and well assorted; it is regularly reviewed and recipes are based on seasonal ingredients. Whatever “your stomach decides to go for”, you can be assured that your dish is prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a truly “home-cooking” style”. I always visit the Antichi Sapori during my summer vacation in Italy and I like to have a table in the alfresco dining area at the front of the building. There you can better enjoy the view over the characteristic main square of the town and fully appreciate the peacefulness of the surrounding. During the winter, the smaller of the 2 indoor lounges is the perfect place for a cosier evening, while diners in the larger room can benefit from a very warming, typically Italian fireplace. I strongly suggest saving a bit of room in your stomach at the end of your meal, that's for a slice of the “Torta degli Antichi Sapori”. If you adored chocolate as much as I do, you would understand what I mean; if you're not as chocoholic, I am sure you would still understand after you have tried it (to die for!!!). If you happen to go for a meal at the Antichi Sapori, please say Hi to the guys for me (particularly to Federica, the Head Chef). Pietro
